I grew up in Detroit, but after many years living in the western U.S., I have absolutely fallen in love – with the wide-open spaces, the lonely highways, the remnants of the past, the roadside oddities.
More recently, I’ve discovered the creative outlet of photography workshops (featured photo – sunset outside of Gallup, New Mexico), rambling across the desert with my fellow adventure-seekers. Photo workshops have become a great source of subject matter for my paintings.
