When my friend Alberta asked if it was possible to get an enlarged print of my bus painting “Last Stop,” the answer from Elizabeth Kuiper at Pixel Perfect Printing in Chico, CA, was “how big do you want?” Using a roll of 44-inch-wide cold-press watercolor paper and a super-high-resolution digital image she made of the original painting, it was possible for Elizabeth to scale the print up to as much as 10 feet long by 3.5 feet tall! We eventually settled on 7 feet long by nearly 3 feet tall. As Alberta said, “Go big or go home!” Caleb Klungtvet of Art Etc. in Chico, CA, framed this print, and it is now hanging in her home along with other striking pieces of art.

All in all, this piece pushed the limits and was very eye-opening as to what is possible. Elizabeth and Caleb are the A-Team! Go big!
